„My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to ...

„We could not have asked for a more fantastic place to stay. From arrival and check in, support from staff whilst we were there, location, quirky cabin... Proximity to the hills/ station/ pubs/ canal... Absolutely beautiful. The children loved the waterfall and the cabin itself... A log burner and a sofa to sleep on was a great asset for them. Waking up amongst the trees and being able to feed the ducks 10 meters away. We ate in the village and also had a takeaway... Great choice and fabulous ...

„We booked the shepherds hut for our 1st wedding anniversary. It was better than we thought. The hut was clean and lovely with everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the area was great too. We have no complaints at all and would definitely visit again :)“
