Our grandchildren loved the beach and were really excited to catch blue crabs. The neighbors are very friendly and made us feel right at home.“

The location is perfect, plenty of room with 3 separate bedrooms, a comfortable living room, and full access kitchen, washer/dryer and 1 bathroom. It was perfect. „Smith Island is remote, isolated, and a 45 minute ferry trip from Crisfield on lower Maryland's Eastern Shore.The house was recently renovated. It is very well furnished and equipt. Chris has a detailed handbook about what to expect on the island with names and phone numbers for residents who can provide services and give tours including the listing for the ferry boats. So much detail to everything, games for kids, cleanliness, coffee for adults, its own little bird sanctuary out back with hummingbirds. The patriotic theme throughout was my favorite.
