„For foreigners, you have to go 20 minutes down a rock road which runs along the lake. Plenty of options for restaurants along the way. Fairly easy to locate, I would stress that you do not attempt to drive to or from here at night because of the road. The restaurant/bar on site had great food and I ate here each night. Decent alcohol selection. The views are the lake make it worth staying and only a hour or less out from major sites, I used it as my home base.

„The staff was amazing!!! They were so nice that we decided to go back to this hotel for a second time in the same week! Also breakfast are included and so tasty! We had the king bed which was very comfortable and the pool is big enough to swim and has great temperature. This hotel is a good place to relax and is 10 min away from el tunco if people want to party or surf and 15 min away from san blas a more quiet beach. “

„This property was lovely. Just be aware there are a lot of stairs from the boardwalk up to the hotel, but they do have a ramp as well. It is walking distance to many places to eat, dine etc. Also they did not have a full body mirror, but other than that everything was great! “
„Very nice stay. Loved that El Tunco is right behind the property.. access to beach, restaraunts all in the backyard. The staff was great. Wanted to leave (late check out) and was told we couldn’t after calling the night before because someone booked the room. That was disappointing but we were able to stay on the resort until 4pm. Room was small for two if you want space but amazing view, clean, food was okay and bar was a nice vibe. Got a massage for 1 hour for $50. All in all had a great time!“

„It's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me.
