„Spacious and comfy bach with everything we needed for a weekend away with friends. The glazing offers such great views from all the living spaces. As already pointed out the kitchen is very small but we found it very functional - and the benchtop bifold out to the deck is brilliant. We found the bbq (situated out the back) was nearing the end of its life, as they do, but still managed steak for dinner. Hard to beat this private and well setup location.“

„Loved the place with all the facilities - limited instructions eg. TV use, and information about the area. Didn't realise how close the neighbours were and had to keep curtains closed most of the time to prevent neighbours on all sides seeing in. Wonderful and close access to the beach. Great to have our dog with us and would stay again but be wary of being there when other neighbouring baches had guests.“

„When we walked in we were impressed and continued to be impressed everywhere we looked. The log fire was perfect to keep warm and the welcome was very welcoming with notes explaining how to use eveything. Right up there with the best places we have stayed at around NZ.. Comunications was very fast . Will not hesitate to stay here again. Everything we needed was there plus much more. “

„Patrick was an absolutely wonderful host and the arrival process was smooth and easy! It was the most stunning location with a lot of space for the seven of us that stayed. Unfortunately it rained most of our stay so we are hoping to stay again to get to spend some time outside on the property. One thing to note is that the property is completely off-grid. We loved this aspect but definitely worth knowing that there is just one composting toilet and one shower when you have a big group! ...

Reasonably well equipped, though light on cups and good sized glasses, and no microwave (noting this wasn’t listed). For us it suited that the location meant there were no near neighbours but, at the same time, the property grounds and driveway were a bit of a building site and not yet developed. A delight to have the wild turkey and chicks roaming in the long grass.“

Also was not advised of the severe water shortage (heads up would have been nice) and someone was going to come round and measure what was in the tank - no-one came we were very conservative with the water and would have been anyway if we had been told..Maybe a reduction in the daily rate would have been welcome due to the above. „Hello, everything was really good, well described, easy to find, good amnesties - we loved the place a lot. We we did not like at all was the security camera in the kitchen, dining and lounge. The camera lights were sometimes on - that’s how we spotted it. That is not compliant with NZ laws - the owner did not inform about it. There is no written hint, not on bookabatch, not in the description in the house, not mentioned by the owner verbally. Please be aware of it. Cheers, Volker“

„This listing is more then just a tad misleading... It says pet friendly, but no secure area for the dogs or any shelter. Leaving about 1sqm for the pets inside when it rains. The use of space in a tiny home is probably the worst ive seen. A big bed with ZERO use of wall space for storage. No toilet scrubber for the toilet is one of the finer details they are missing here. They said there was a BBQ and fire available, neither of these were true. We asked for firewood as they said to ...
