„A complete highlight of our trip! This inn has a rich 187 year history, it's impeccably maintained, with an excellent staff. Every day when we returned from our adventures our traditional room was crisp and tidy with a new flower arrangement, and hot water for tea and coffee. We had a traditional kaiseki-style dinner with the owner/chef, which was fantastic!! After dinner the owner gave us a light talk about the inn and answered questions. „Very traditional from your normal hotel. Close to teain station and many restaraunts near. Staff was by far the most helpful with anything you needed. Small breakfast area on Floor 2 each day “

„Posto tipico da provare per almeno una notte personalmente credo che la seconda sia stata eccessiva in quanto il letto (tatami) l’ho trovato veramente scomodo la colazione è molto particolare in quanto ti servono tofu bollito o noodles di prima mattina“

„It’s a very well aged facility, the room was spacious but the bathroom is small, with no power outlets. I’m 5’6 and can easily touch the ceiling. But overall it is a very quiet neighbourhood, close to the bus stop, and Kyoto station. “

„While the property was very unique and large, it was quite dirty. There was dust on everything, used Bobby pins on several countertops, and hair on top of all the rocks by the bed. “

„War 2 Tage dort. Extrem Freundliches Personal. Blick auf den Berg ist wörtlich zu nehmen, direkt vor dem Fenster. Zur Entschädigung grasten im Hand regelmäßig 2 Rehe. Essen ist super! Ansonsten muss einem eben klar sein das ein Ryokan, also fast auf dem Boden schlafen, nicht für jedes Kreuz ist. Aber man kann ja morgens mal kurz in das Onsen hüpfen und schon ist wieder alles gut...“
