Finde St. Catherine's Lighthouse Hotels

„We recently had the pleasure of visiting the Buddle Inn on the beautiful Isle of Wight, and we can confidently say that it is a hidden gem! Location-wise, the Buddle Inn boasts a stunning setting, nestled against breathtaking coastal views and surrounded by the natural beauty of the island. It's the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the scenery, especially with a drink in hand. The food and drinks were great. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and showcased local ...

„Perfect location. Central to the island. Room was cool ..clean and quiet even above a pub. Breakfast was lovely“

„Our stay was luvly, right qhere we wanted to be very cl8se to the beach, rooms very comfortable and clean.Rosemary and David are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are brilliant, we had something different each day and no complaints from us and the warm lemon drizzle cake was divine.“

„Sehr netter Service. Sehr gutes Essen. Euhige Lage mut Parkplatz direkt Hotel. 750 m jis zum Meer.“

„The staff was very helpfull and friendly. Great food.“

„We had an ok stay. Overall there was a lot more good than bad. Positives: - Room and the rest of the hotel were nicely decorated, and more modern style than most nearby hotels - Cleanliness was good and the room was serviced efficiently - Breakfast was very good quality and the standard was fairly consistent - Three EV chargers and lots of parking. All chargers were Type 2, so if your car needs a CHAdeMO connector then you're out of luck, but they are uncommon now anyway. Charger was expensive ...

„Tolles Hotel mit grandiosem Blick!“

„Liked everything with one exception. We had booked a superior double room. Upon arrival we were told we were being upgraded. The room was dominated by a super king size bed. There were 4 large lamps and 2 overhead bedside lamps. However no chair and no fridge. I enquired and unfortunately they did not have a spare fridge. I expected a chair and fridge in a superior room.“

„Like other people have already mentioned, there is no Hotel staff on site so you're pretty much left to your own devices. When checking in I was greeted by the restaurant’s chef who had to phone someone to come and bring the keys to my room which included a ten minute wait.
Since the rooms are located above the restaurant, it is quite loud in the evening and late at night – especially when your room faces the street and people leave the restaurant talking loudly. I had a problem during my stay ...

„Wir hatten eine wunderbare Suite mit zwei getrennten Zimmern. Das Mobiliar ist eher Antik, aber in Ordnung. Ein schönes, großes Bad. Einziger Nachteil man hört die Straße sehr laut, wenn man nach vorne raus wohnt. Alle Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich das Frühstück war toll.“

„The room its self was clean but very tired. It was very cold as the window/door lets in a draught (old building) but we were provided with a large blanket on arrival but the electric fire in the room was more for decoration rather than heat. The staff were happy to help with our requests for extra towels and coffee. It was a very unique experience.“

„The hotel is close to the hovercraft ferry. I had to call someone to check in, since the reception is not staffed all the time. I was traveling by bicycle and they have a shed for safe storage. The breakfast is chosen from a menu with a few options. Restaurants are about a 10 minute walk away. The shower had very low waterflow. “

„A band was playing until 11.10pm on Friday night which was above the legal 11pm time limit.. (this was the time I was told this would be the time the band would finish. My room was above the band- so it's worth avoiding that room! It was called “Port” Breakfast was ok other than the mouldly brown bread, I didn't check if the kitchen was clean. Didn't get breakfast on the 2nd morning as I arrived downstairs at 9.15 am - doors all locked up. The room was clean and tidy - staff friendly“
