Hotels Spurstow

„Truly wonderful staff, great food, lovely overall ambience. Our mattress was very hard and the bed frame creaked badly which led to disturbed sleep. Breakfast was very good and the bar area and restaurant are lovely places to spend time in.“

„Einfach ein schönes Wohnen im Schloss. Sehr gutes Personal“

„Lovely place, great big rooms and very good kitchen. “

„Aside from a member of staff called Kane who was exceptionally helpful, our experience for a birthday break was beyond disappointing. We initially stayed at the sister property The Swan in Tarporley where staff were outstanding but at The Lion we were greeted in what can only be described as very patronising, unwelcoming and brusque, by who we understand to be Beth. We were shown to a room that was classed as executive but had clearly had a major leak in the bathroom as paint was peeling away ...

„Beautiful room the brilliant evening meal and breakfast“

„Angenehme familliäre Atmosphäre, sehr guten freundlichen Service, Kleines Schwimmbad seperat neben dem Hotel, das in einem riesigen Park gelegen ist. Erholung und Natur pur.“

„Place excellent great staff nice food only problem was there was no chair in my room if you lay on the bed you fall asleep but great place“

„Alles gut“

The food was delicious, although I suspect that the breakfast portion size could be a bit larger for some people. The hotel has much charm and is situated in very quiet surroundings. The guest book proposed many things to do, but visitors should come by car, to get around easily. Parking spaces were more than enough outside. ...

„Sehr schön, sehr abwechslungsreiche Restaurants.“
