„Gut gelegenes Hotel im Norden von Southhampton, hervorragend geeignet für Ausflüge nach Winchester, Salisbury und Stonehenge. Das Hotel gibt sich sehr familienfreundlich, was dazu führt, dass zu jeder Zeit lärmende Kinder und ihre überforderten Eltern schreiend über den Flur laufen. Das gleiche gilt für den Frühstücksraum, wo dieselben Kinder anscheinend Narrenfreiheit geniessen. Ansonsten ein angenehmes Hotel...“
„Check in and checking out went very smoothly. Kind and courteous staff. Very informative with questions asked. Restaurant on site offered a variety of delicious choices. Great restaurant service. The hotel setting was very charming and peaceful. Family was able to get a quality sleep after an exhausting day of travel. “

„Me and my friend booked this place as it was quite close to where we shared a house as students 6 years ago and the charm was the same, for us it was a familiar and comfortable stay - the staff were lovely and helpful too, rooms were very nice and it was great value for the pricing.
If you don't mind a shared shower, toilets and kitchen area, definitely give it a go.
My one critique of the house was that the door locks were a little finicky, a few times me and a few other guests got stuck ...

„On arrival no staff just a pin number sent to access room. On entering i sat on mattress and nearly fell through as its so thin and missing so many springs plus springs went straight into bottom. The tiny light on wall had no bulb in and was rusty and dirty. Room was dirty no wonder it was £30 for a night“

Building needs maintenance- we had to help other guests get into their rooms where doors were broken and door locks were sticking.
Location fab for Portswood and easy to find parking on a Saturday night .“
„Unterirdisch!! Nach 20 min haben wir uns eine andere Unterkunft gebucht. Baustelle im Nebenzimmer, Matratzen uralt und durchgelegen, Schrank fällt fast auseinander, demolierte Türschlösser, klein TV. Einfach schlimm. “
