„The house/cabin is situated off the main highway at the end of a short 1/4 mile gravel road, so there is no traffic running by the house. There are a handful of other houses nearby, but they are far enough away that one doesn't even notice them...it is VERY quiet. „Overall we had a really good stay and would stay again. The only issues we had were about some of the amenities. The pool table was one of the reasons we picked this house over others but it was unusable. A cheap table, poorly put together and not level at all. It was impossible to play a game. The hot tub was nice but the first time 2 of us got in it, it overflowed and immediately shut off. We went underneath the deck the next day to see what happened. „Went to visit my son who attends Chico state. Place was cute. Kitchen very small and old appliances but I didn’t plan any meals there. Bed was very comfortable. First night was a little chilly and there weee no extra blankets. I reached out and was brought a blanket that day. I would recommend to the owners to have more than one coffee cup, maybe a throw blanket in the living room and supply more than two towels in the bathroom. „The property is in a quiet neighborhood, check in was easy. The only reason for the 4 star is the some of the things about the house itself needed work or are safety hazards and those things impacted our stay at the house. The major one being the pool area, the tie downs for the pool cover stick up out of the walkway. Luckily we were all wearing Crocs or sandals and none of us were barefoot or we would have had some serious foot injuries/falls.This property is has such great potential if there ...

„Stayed at the Zen Den while visiting the Shasta/Redding area. Centrally located to a lot of sightseeing activities, grocery and restaurants. The gardens are lovely! Unfortunately due to the mosquitos we were not able to enjoy the fire pit or the tub. The inside is clean and has all needs to a comfortable stay. The shower is a bit small, but made do. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet, except on last day a neighbor had yard work done, so the leaf blower was in full force as we were ...

„1951 log home with huge fireplace, woodstove, hot tub and sauna. Beautiful views. Great location near Lassen Volcanic National Park. Remember to gas up and bring food. Only on country store nearby with limited options. Only a couple of restaurants too although I'm sure there are more options in season. „Excellent location for visiting the park. The cabin provided everything we needed for our stay and the facilities were all in perfect working order. “

„We loved the cabins on the water only downfall was the train nearby. I slept through it but teenagers did not. Also the room we had was nestled the furthest away from the train and closer to the water. We loved it and enjoyed the area. The property manger was great and communicated great. 10/10 for the property manager. So peaceful and just beautiful . Would love to go back again. “

„We absolutely loved this place. The cabin itself is very cute and the setting is beautiful and relaxing. There are train tracks nearby and our young son absolutely LOVED watching the trains from the front window. After seeing the back area and the river itself I really wish I had brought my fishing gear. We will most definitely be back!“

„Property was spacious and as advertised. Pool was a swamp and uncovered. We were not planning on swimming but this was a potential hazard for our young children. Kids got hot tub folliculitis because hot tub was not very clean. House was pretty rough around the edges (ie carpet stains everywhere, fake wood floor panels with gaps and soft spots, exposed light bulbs with no covers, pool table in disrepair etc...). The third full day of our stay a lawn service was present for most of the sun lit ...

„Beautiful lake location. Loved watching the evening sunset from the deck. Lots of room to spread out. Lovely quiet neighborhood. I don't recommend trying to get down to the water if your senior or carrying a child. Great retreat are so close to boat rentals. Thank you so much!“

"Die Fenster waren nicht dicht. Es war sehr laut. Die Handtücher etwas angegraut und schmutzig. Beim Versuch deine warme Dusche zu nehmen hatte man die Duscharmatur in der Hand und mußte kalt duschen. Wir haben dies an der Rezeption bemängelt und die Duscharmatur vorgelegt. Dies fand die Dame lustig. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung. Beim Frühstück, das auch kein Highlight war, war jeder Toast einzeln in zwei Folien eingepackt !!! Ein Hinweis, daß das Waschbecken nicht im Badezimmer ist, wäre hilfreich. Das war auf den Bildern für uns nicht zu erkennen. Insgesamt war es zu teuer. "

"Das Oxford Suites in Redding, CA, hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Beide Zimmer, die wir hatten, waren richtige Suiten und hatten alles, was man braucht. Das Frühstück mit echten Tellern und Besteck war toll. Kein Plastik, sehr schön! Netter Service. "
