„The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay.“

„Very nice VRBO. Exactly as described. Backyard was lovely, especially with the covered sitting area.Location was good for access to Lassen. Downtown Redding a short drive away.Shasta Lake City doesn't have a lot of amenities, but a grocery store is close for stocking up on supplies“

„What a beautiful home. Our stay was great with very comfortable beds and very well stocked kitchen and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed our meals on the spacious deck and loved sitting right beside the river to just be. Rekha and Shyam were wonderful hosts. They answered our questions immediately and checked in with us often. I hope I will be lucky enough to come back to this part of the country to stay here again. There is so much to do and the countryside is beautiful. “

„I wanted to visit my old college stomping grounds for the weekend and this place delivered. Less than 10 min walk to all the downtown spots and a block from the trail to one mile. It’s the side of downtown you want to be in when you’re over 30. The bikes came in so clutch too. Owner was really accommodating and kind. Would definitely book this place again. “

„The property is great for a vacation type visit. Nice, neat yard with interesting plants and trees. Our dog loved it! Inside very neat and clean, with everything needed for your comfort. We like it so much that this was our second year choosing it as our away home when visiting family. The only minor issue was getting used to the freeway traffic noise if sleeping in the west facing bedrooms.“

„Very clean, very nice property!! Had everything you could want all the amenities!! Coffemaker, hot pot, grinder. Whole bean coffee, teas. Lots of games, nice patio area!! Easy check in and out. Would definitely stay again! Sadly did not have time for the pool :( “

„Perfect place for big group of 16. We have rented this place twice now and have had a great time both stays! Has everything for a big grout of guys or a few families. Everything is just nice enough to not worry about breaking something. Pool is too cold for October though. A heated pool would make the place even better. We will probably be back a some point.“

"Die Fenster waren nicht dicht. Es war sehr laut. Die Handtücher etwas angegraut und schmutzig. Beim Versuch deine warme Dusche zu nehmen hatte man die Duscharmatur in der Hand und mußte kalt duschen. Wir haben dies an der Rezeption bemängelt und die Duscharmatur vorgelegt. Dies fand die Dame lustig. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung. Beim Frühstück, das auch kein Highlight war, war jeder Toast einzeln in zwei Folien eingepackt !!! Ein Hinweis, daß das Waschbecken nicht im Badezimmer ist, wäre hilfreich. Das war auf den Bildern für uns nicht zu erkennen. Insgesamt war es zu teuer. "
