„Loved this cozy cottage in the perfect location Very clean on arrival & has 2 beautiful bedrooms with en suite which is an excellent bonus for sharing with friends or family .. showers were fantastic & lovely big bath too.. Great little downstairs loo The log burner was great on a cold evening so warm & cosy Very well equipped kitchen & with everything you need and more.. loved the little courtyard it was perfect for our little 4 legged friends Perfect stay and no complaints at all we will ...

„We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!“

„Fantastic home on the lake with gorgeous grounds and views. Plenty of rooms to spread out and have privacy yet also large family rooms for gathering together for meals and games. Hosts were excellent and very responsive with tips for local restaurants. Overall a magnificent property and we hope to return! “

„This house is high on a hill so view from the balcony is second to non. A great viewing platform for the F35 jets too! Its high up position does mean steep walks up and down. The house is big and easily accommodated the 5 of us and we found everything we needed for a great week. The pool is 3 mins walk away and was a nice addition. “

„Property- fantastic. Many walks to forests/gardens/fells right from the property- Ferry to towns a 10 min walk. Grounds were charming- the kitchen is incredibly well kitted out for those who like to cook- very comfortable beds and the communication was great with the owners.“

„Extremely handy base for walking in this area and easy access to all the village facilities. One thing I hadn’t thought of was the challenge of a dirty dog and only having a small shower cubicle so one to consider if booking! (We made it work somehow). Only slight down side to the property was the sofa isn’t the comfiest place to sit of an evening, but we fixed that by visiting the pub instead. Overall very good for our needs and an easy experience.“

„We arrived to what initially looked superb.A real wow moment Fresh towels linen etc. large room and plenty of space inside. There were no instructions on how to use the cooler / heating. It was not a bespoke welcome pack. Very very basic pack. We received a bottle of wine in the fridge and two bottles of water.
