„Die Wohnung liegt in einer Art Feriendorf, das überwiegend aus kleinen Ferienhäusern besteht und sich mit genügend Freiraum über einem kleinen Berg erstreckt. Das Poolhaus ist von 9 Uhr bis 21:30 Uhr geöffnet und zu einem kleinen entspannenden Plantschen mit Kindern gut geeignet. Hier stehen den Gästen weiterhin eine Tischtennisplatte und eine kleine Sauna gehen kleines Geld zur Verfügung. Das Poolhaus ist ca 5 Gehminuten von der Wohnung entfernt. „We had an amazing week at Ullswater Cabin. The cabin itself was perfect for a week for a family of 4 with children aged 7 and 10. They loved the table tennis and pool facilities. The location of the cabin is great both on the site itself and within the lakes. We didn’t need to drive for more than 20 minutes to go anywhere (we could have if we wanted to but didn’t need to) and fitted so much into one week. Would definitely recommend. “

„We have just had a great holiday in the lakes. The house was in a brilliant location just a couple of minutes into the centre but far enough away to be peaceful.There was everything we needed in the house and it was clean throughout. The pool next door is a huge plus and the view is absolutely stunning.If I had to make any criticism it would be that the blinds need some attention but it didn't impede our stay at all.Thank you for hosting us “

As noted in the description it is very close to the center of town, a very short walk to all the shops and restaurants, and just around the corner from the Coop for groceries. We were delighted to find it clean, comfortable and well located with just steps to the local Tesco, shops and restaurants. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. „Booked this via VRBO and was forwarded to Hereward Cottages. Upon booking we were under the impression we had 4 bedrooms to use as we pleased - however, we were told (pretty rudely via email) the 4th bedroom was only suitable for children (even though the beds would have easily held a fully grown adult on the bottom bunk). We'd also booked two dogs but didn't check this at time of booking, again, being told pretty rudely 'they would have to check' this was ok (it was btw!).All in all the actual ...

Super zentral gelegen mit sehr gutem Pool

"Mitten im Ort gelegen, aber dennoch ruhig. Mit dem kostenlosen Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel hat es auch jeden Abend geklappt, kann aber schon voll werden. Es gibt aber wohl auch noch einen zweiten Parkplatz, den wir aber nicht gebraucht haben. Meiner Frau hat der Pool super gefallen, gepflegt, sauber und ansprechend gestaltet. Der Whirlpool hat uns beiden sehr gut gefallen. Frühstück war sehr gut, das Abendessen im Hotel hatten wir nur einmal genossen. War jetzt nicht schlecht, aber irgendwie fehlte der Pfiff, da sind wir lieber im Ort Essen gegangen und im Zweifelsfalle geht Fish & Chips halt immer. Sehr schönes Zimmer mit uriger Einrichtung, fehlt eigentlich nur noch Sherlock Holmes der einmal vorbeischaut. Wenn es draußen warm wird, dann kann es auch im Zimmer super warm/heiß werden. Dadurch das wir ein Zimmer mit Balkon hatten, konnten wir aber gut durchlüften und so das Zimmer zum Schlafen auf erträgliche Temperaturen bekommen."
