„Simply Outstanding. Don't go by the over- or under-photoshopped pics. The place is extremely comfortable, well-sized, with a plush bathroom, all imaginable amenities, the nicest kitchen we have seen, and amazing views. Please don't forget to gaze at the stars at night. We stayed in the Learach room. Since this is the located the "lowest" of all cabins, it gets the least amount of afternoon / evening sun and limited views of the water from outside, but we didn't mind. “

Sehr wenig Geschirr, unpraktische und schäbige Stühle, Gartenmöblierung heruntergekommen, nachts sind Schnecken über unsere Koffer gekrochen.Der Eigentümer war nicht gerade freundlich, ganz anders als bisherige Bewertungen hier. Insgesamt enttäuschend.Die Lage am Wasser und im Ort ist allerdings gut.“

„We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.“

„My wife and I stayed at Burnbank Lodges for several days, to celebrate ourv25th anniversary. Campbell and Nina are welcoming, wonderful hosts.
