„Schöne Wanderwege, aber noch schöner einfach über die Hügel eigene Wege finden. Tolle Strände. Aber kaum Möglichkeiten essen zu gehen . Selbst in Tarbert kann man kaum Lebensmittel kaufen. Also unbedingt in Stornoway komplett eindecken.Sehr nette Galerien teils mit Café.“

Lovely wee beach just at the end of the road and the host also manage to provide lovely sunny weather for us!“

„Aw what a lovely stay we had at the bungalow. Deceptively big and laid out so well for families. Very homely. So equipped to be able to cook and the welcome basket with bread, eggs, butter, milk and weetabix was so welcome as shops aren’t easy to find and have short opening hours! We were in awe of the view and look forward to hopefully returning soon.“

„This is a truly beautiful home in an incredible location. The home is so spacious and is well set up for a very comfortable stay. The setting--literally at the end of the road--offers peace and quiet along with incredible views, and it is fairly central for day trips to the island's sites. Marie is very quick to respond to inquiries and provide helpful information and advice.“

„Joan's house is very spacious, well equipped, and perfectly located within 10 mins walk from the local shops (provisions, crafts and tweed) and the local restaurant, deli, ButtyBus, harbour and lochs. Thee ideal base location from which to explore by vehicle, bike, or on foot. Slept like logs, all of us. Fab kitchen for eating and socialising with friends, with really good decking out back and village and loch views to the front. Gorgeous sunsets, depending on the weather. Stay, relax, ...

At all the house is very cosy. Every day I had a wonderful view at Uig Sand. There is absolutly no noise. You just hear the sea and some birds. And there are a lot of rabbits around the house and all over the isle. The place was good for all my journeys in Lewis and Harris. I really enjoyed my holiday in the heb ...
