„Schöne Wanderwege, aber noch schöner einfach über die Hügel eigene Wege finden. Tolle Strände. Aber kaum Möglichkeiten essen zu gehen . Selbst in Tarbert kann man kaum Lebensmittel kaufen. Also unbedingt in Stornoway komplett eindecken.Sehr nette Galerien teils mit Café.“

„Lovely wee property in a great location for exploring Harris and all it has to offer. Spacious enough for the teenager and the pre-teen to be separated and mum and dad to have some space to chill out! Lovely wee beach just at the end of the road and the host also manage to provide lovely sunny weather for us!“

„The house overlooks Loch Erisort in a beautiful, quiet setting. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished with a better equipped kitchen than is found in many rental properties. We found it a good location for visiting Stornoway, the west coast of Lewis, and Harris. The local area to the south and east is also worth exploring. We had a meal at the local hotel which was pleasant, but, we thought pretty expensive, so wouldn’t really recommend that. “

„Joan's house is very spacious, well equipped, and perfectly located within 10 mins walk from the local shops (provisions, crafts and tweed) and the local restaurant, deli, ButtyBus, harbour and lochs. Thee ideal base location from which to explore by vehicle, bike, or on foot. Slept like logs, all of us. Fab kitchen for eating and socialising with friends, with really good decking out back and village and loch views to the front. Gorgeous sunsets, depending on the weather. Stay, relax, ...
