„A lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful secluded location, within minutes walk of the rugged coast or a few minutes drive to a fabulous sandy bay. Facilities seem complete, with nothing else needed for our stay and the cottage was spotless and warm when we arrived.The entire region is visually stunning. Host is friendly and responsive if needed.“

„Schöne Wanderwege, aber noch schöner einfach über die Hügel eigene Wege finden. Tolle Strände. Aber kaum Möglichkeiten essen zu gehen . Selbst in Tarbert kann man kaum Lebensmittel kaufen. Also unbedingt in Stornoway komplett eindecken.Sehr nette Galerien teils mit Café.“

„We loved Taigh Mairi. Great to have a spacious property for all the family to have their own space, and the large kitchen and separate dining room was very useful. We've been to the Uists several times, but Grimsay was a lovely new part to visit. We enjoyed the quiet road around Grimsay for walks and running, and it was very convenient to just be 10 mins drive from Balivanich with its two supermarkets and fast EV charging point. „Liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuschen für zwei am Wasser. Wer es - wie wir - ruhig mag, ist hier bestens aufgehoben; auch wenn das Wetter wie in unserem Fall über mehrere Tage garstig sein sollte. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt enorm genossen und bereits jetzt wieder Heimweh nach den äusseren Hebriden und Schottland.“

„This is one of the best holiday homes we ever stayed in (and we have a lot of experience). It has everything a guest could wish for.“

„The cottage was perfect....clean, cosy, excellent information in the cottage eg lights labelled, instructions for all appliances etc. Felted artwork beautiful. Yoh can see and feel the care and attention that has been put into making it a lovely place to stay.Good location for exploring outer islands ie close to ferry ports. “
