„We loved staying at Taransay Cottage very much. Beautiful and well equpped house with breathtaking views. Stunning beaches reachable by short walks, we spotted eagles and dolphins. “

„Had a great week in the superb Kettle Cottage, great location with open views to the sea - great sunsets. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bedroom had loads of space and bed very comfortable. Great walks from the cottage door or short drive away. All round great week and would hope to return “

„The house was comfortable and warm, with lovely views and perfectly good facilities (4g signal is good so didn't miss wifi). It was nice to come back to during those days when the weather was wild. Everything I needed in a place to stay. Not too far from Castlebay so easy to get food and fuel. Will definitely stay there again if available next time I am on Barra. Barra itself was fantastic and a very friendly place, with some stunning coastline to explore from the sea when the weather allowed!“

„Liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuschen für zwei am Wasser. Wer es - wie wir - ruhig mag, ist hier bestens aufgehoben; auch wenn das Wetter wie in unserem Fall über mehrere Tage garstig sein sollte. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt enorm genossen und bereits jetzt wieder Heimweh nach den äusseren Hebriden und Schottland.“

„Schöne Wanderwege, aber noch schöner einfach über die Hügel eigene Wege finden. Tolle Strände. Aber kaum Möglichkeiten essen zu gehen . Selbst in Tarbert kann man kaum Lebensmittel kaufen. Also unbedingt in Stornoway komplett eindecken.Sehr nette Galerien teils mit Café.“
