„Rivers Edge Retreat has been one of the best places we have stayed during our travels. Better than advertised and owner spares no expense with the HIGH quality of everything inside and out. Distance to town was perfect drive, got to see elk herd on way home from dinner about 5:45-6pm on 335 road to house. We dont see them in Texas so it was very neat. River flowing just outside the deck was refreshing and soothing for the soul. Ann the host had great communication and info in house helped ...

„This little place is super cute and SO easy to stay in. The light switches and drawers all included labels, so finding things was really simple. Lots of really cool pine countertops, tables and shelves (if you appreciate quality woodwork). The location was quiet and pastoral, but only a few miles from Cortez and its assortment of restaurants. If I ever head to Mesa Verde again - which I may - this will be my first choice.“
