„We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The Mountain View was absolutely breathtaking — one of the best we’ve ever seen. The house was spotless, very well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We loved watching deer pass through the property, adding to the peaceful, nature-filled atmosphere. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to explore. Highly recommend this gem of a getaway!“

„All the high tech gizmos you could want! Maybe too many cameras? Felt like you were being watched the whole time . Not the best location for pets as you are right next to a busy road with no fences ,but we made it work. Really cool listening to the ice on the lake reverberate up and down the whole lake at night! “

„Loved the cabin. Loved the amenities. The only thing that I didn't love was the location of the outdoor area. We were looking forward to evening fire in the fire pit outdoors, as well as grilling outside. The problem was that the outdoor area was up a steep hill behind the cabin. Although there were gravel/wooden stairs leading to the outdoor area. We went up there once, when we first arrived. The stairs were a problem for us (my balance is bad). There was no rail to hold on to, nor was ...

„It rained most of the time we stayed at the lake, lucky for us the cabin was cute, comfortable and cozy! We never found the shared fire pit, but again the rain kept us indoors in the evenings.Our small dog was welcome, and so we felt right at home. Host left a water bowl, treats, dog towel, and extra waste bags. A really nice touch! A “Shanty Chic” pairing at the shoreline as the canoe has rowing oars instead of paddles. Overall 10/10 would stay again. Thanks! “

„We really enjoyed this property. The home was spacious allowing plenty of room for all ten of us. The game room was a great gathering space. Dining area was large enough for all of us to eat and play games together. Easy drive in to both Bayfield and Durango. And very close to Vallecito Lake. Would definitely recommend this property. “

„We had an incredible ski trip! The house is absolutely beautiful and met all of our needs perfectly. The views were breathtaking, and it snowed as we drove and it made it feel like a true winter wonderland. Skiing was fantastic, and the resort being so close to the house was a huge bonus. We definitely needed 4WD to get to the house, but it was totally worth it! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay—it was an unforgettable experience!“
