I just want to start by saying that EXPEDIA could have noted that the hotel was being remolded because my view was another hotel being built literally 30 feet away.
Pool/beach service, I have no complaints. Alexis was awesome. Never a dull moment.
Rooms, not too bad but housekeepers could have been more attentive to cleaning. Weeks of dust sitting on some of their furniture. Room was missing iron. Safe and AC was not working.
Food, well here comes the good part. Be very careful on what you eat here because my whole family got food poisoning. Just stay away from the stuff that sits outside in the heat all day. You can’t have ceviche sitting outside without proper temperatures. After this whole ordeal and we left hotel our driver had told us that another lady had been sick with food poisoning the day before. Someone please step in.
Management, LUCY did an awesome job on providing medical attention to us without cost. Lucy does know what it takes to satisfy the customer because she was always checking up on us to make our stay more comfortable.
Concierge helped us where they could but let’s be real, I haven’t met anyone that could help someone with food poisoning. You got to let it pass.
Overall, I think it’s a good thing that Hyatt bought them out and is transitioning the hotel over but still months away. I think the food program needs help. I didn’t want to do this review because I felt bad for the people that really tried. I was in love with this hotel 2 years ag
