This property could be a 4/5 but a few key problems made our stay problematic:
Extremely busy and overbooked for amount of amenities such as not enough pool chairs, long wait times for cafe, food trucks, pizza place (30-45 min)
If you weren’t at the pool before 8 you would not get a chair but chairs couldn’t be reserved before 7, yet by 7 half of the chairs were gone. They removed our stuff when we went at 6am. Not having suffcient chairs for half of your guests seems like a huge miss.
Dinners was another sticking point- you had to make reservations at midnight for the next 2 days and even then you could not get some restaurants.
Timeshare/ prime/ diamond club is quite scammy. If you don’t have diamond club you miss out on a lot of perks- ie) you won’t get a chair, won’t be able to get to the restaurants you want etc.
kids club you had to leave your child you could not stay and play with them and we were not comfortable with that so we didn’t use it
Everything else is an extra charge
Water park is a little sketch. Multiple people got stuck in the slides that we met.
Food was decent. We did have some good meals. Very mid lots of stuff was just OK. We enjoyed the Indian restaurant and Agave the Mexican best.
Staff at the pool cabanas were very good to us.
