„Excellent place to stay in Varenna. We would definitely rebook this property. Perfect central location between the train station and the ferries, close to a local café and small grocery market. Even though our room was on top of a bar, there was no noise after 10 pm. The apartment was clean and communications with the host was excellent- they were responsive. Highly recommend. “

„The apartment was spacious, even with the extra bed they kindly put up for us so that our son could visit. Don't under estimate the steepness of the climb to the apartment! We walked up in the rain from the train station with luggage. The short cut paths will save you some time but the cobbles are very slippy when wet. However the view from the balcony when the rain cleared made it worthwhile, it must be the best view we have ever had from a holiday home!Our only issue was the bed, it was creaky ...

„Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter der Ferienwohnung hat bestens geklappt. Die Klima ist zwei mal ausgefallen, das Problem wurde aber sofort behoben. Sonst gab es alles was man braucht. Der Pool könnte öfters gereinigt werden aber das war nur eine Kleinigkeit. Insgesamt war alles gut. “

„Property is beautiful, and felt like home. Owner was very responsive to last minute issues. Very close to the bus stop. Once you are in the COMO area, be ready to walk. The UBER, Taxi are not reliable at all and the bus service is very poor during the day, but runs free service at night after 7/730 pm, which is pretty regular and nice. Will stay here again on my next visit as well, may be will bring less luggage... lol.“

„We enjoyed the Bologna house. It was high up on the hill and could only get there by taxi or bus. Very seldom were we able to find an available taxi and the bus just drove past where we stayed. When we called the property manager and said we were having trouble getting rides, he hung up on us. Property was nice but not a place I would return to.“

We booked through Expedia which was where the discrepancy in the number of bathrooms showed up. We verified later that other listings only showed one bathroom. „Nous avons passé un très agreable séjour.La maison est agréable à vivre.La vue est tès belle.Une suggestion installer une table exterieure pour dejeuner et un petit salon près de la cuisine .L 'acces au jardin et à la terrasse couverte n est pas facile lorsque les bras sont chargés.“

„Nice apartment but no mention whatsoever that you can only use the pool for 1 hour a day and the Jacuzzi for half an hour a day. ( advert makes it sound like you have your very own jacuzzi but you done. It’s shared with about 12 other Apartments ). Garden needs a tidy up. BBQ could’ve been cleaned properly ( as it wasn’t I left it in the same state of found it ). Apartment itself is nice a modern. Lovely views“
