„A lovely property, a newly renovated villa in a quiet location surrounded by fields. Mostly well equipped, but lacking a few details like somewhere to hang towels in the bathrooms. Bath plug leaked and TV turned itself on at full volume at 7.30 am!! Good location for access to Twin Coast rail trail.“

„Warm and cosy, thoughtfully stocked cupboards kind touch by Moni she had lit the stove for us, we arrived quite late, so the house was toasty warm on our arrival. Thank you Moni“

„Enjoyed yesteryear charm. Excellent little touches. Be prepared to travel for Cafe's in Rawene. Great to walk the Kohukohu village up past the school to appreciate the wonderful old villas. Most were built in the 1800's. Best to purchase a concession card for ferry travel. Much cheaper.“

„We had a delightful week in this 1860s cottage. It has been fitted out very comfortably and is surrounded by beautiful gardens including a variety of fruit trees. Fiona is a wonderful host, who responds promptly. It’s a 20 minute drive from the touristy offerings of Piahia and the busier Kerikeri so if you’re wanting shops and restaurants on your doorstep this may not be for you. If you enjoy the peace and quiet of the lush green countryside the you’ll love this cottage“

„We had a beautiful stay, and were so looked after by our host. Walking distance to the beach, and amazing property for the kids to explore. Our Japanese Cedar cabin was such a treat to stay in.“

„Lovely welcoming hosts, Lise was prompt and attentive. We just stayed the one night but it was a very restful and relaxing stay, very private and serene garden areas to enjoy, and all just a short walk to the Kohukohu CBD : ) Very handy to the pub and shop and just across the street from the bowls club where the locals will happily welcome you for a sneaky beverage, there’s some folks there enjoying a bowl and a beer most nights during the summer nights.“

„The cottage is beautiful and rustic with amazing artwork and the best views over Matauri Bay and the Cavalli islands. Very private and perfect for our 2 french bulldogs. They loved the property and the freedom of their own space in an idilic location. Smart tv, washer and dryer plus a massive shower. Our host Teresa was so friendly even helped us with a flat battery in our car. Highly recommend 5 stars “

"Gutes Motel sauber und mit ausreichender Ausstattung. Die Lage ist super, alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen."

"Booked a room for three. Only a bed for two was prepared despite paying and booking for three. The sofa bed which can hardly be named a bed (I felt only the construction and no mattress!) had dirty sheets. At the reception they told us the third person was expected to stay in the double bed with the two people. Absolutely rude and no free one person night was provided. At least new sheets were provided but only the next day. Also it’s next to a gas station, don’t recommend staying there. "

"Tolle Lage, schöne Poolanlage, professioneller Service und gutes Frühstücksbuffet und Bar. Leider sind die Zimmer alt, spärlich möbliert und karg. Sauberkeit liess zu wünschen übrig. Man könnte viel mehr aus dem Hotel an dieser tollen Lage machen."
