It is spacious for a one bedroom with a decent sized kitchen, a dining room table and a cozy living room area with a smart TV that allowed us to log in to all our different streaming services. The king-sized bed is quite comfortable. „die Wohnung ist im keller ,da gehen die Rohre der zentral klimaanlage durch .Es ist ziemlich laut und man kann es nicht regeln.Es war sehr kalt .Leider sind die Bewohner über der Wohnung nicht gerade die ruhigsten In der ersten Nacht kamen sie um 2 Uhr nach Hause und brüllten noch eine Stunde in der wohnung rum.In der 2 Nacht wirde eine Party gefeiert.In der dritten Nacht waren sie auch wieder Nachts laut“

The stairs were a little tricky but lots of railings made it doable even with big luggage. Super clean and well furnished. Would recommend. “

The internet went out (provider issue not owners) and we got an immediate response to our email. We felt safe and secure in the garden apartment. Note that parking can be difficult but not impossible.“

„Some friends and I recently stayed here to attend our college reunion at The University of Chicago. We were impressed by the size and cleanliness of the apartment. The location was excellent for the UofC reunion, and the five of us were very comfortable staying there. It is close to shops and public transportation, as well as other offerings in Hyde Park and Chicago. We were able to find parking on the street in front of the apartment. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!“

"I loved the location of the hotel. Downtown Chicago can be explored afoot since many sightseeing spots are at a walking distance. The nearest train station ‘Harrison’ is 5min by foot away, which was very convenient. The hotel room was good and clean. We loved our view on one part of the Skyline. All in all, I can recommend this hotel for a short trip to Chicago. "

If you want to sleep, choose another place

"Well functioning airport shuttle and a well-equipped big gym. That’s the two positive aspects I can mention. Apart from that the hotel does not fulfill the function that people use a hotel for- get sleep when they are away from home. My room was exactly after the runway so the departing aircraft’s flew right over. Instead of using triple-glazed windows or other measures to reduce noises, they only have very old windows not protecting guests from the noise at all. I don’t now how often I woke up from departing airplanes but I now can differentiate very well the sound of narrow and wide body aircraft’s during take off 😂 Please do not give the feedback that I have ti expect this at an airport hotel. The night before I stayed at Atlanta airport in similar proximity to the airport and they had well isolated window systems reducing the noise to maybe 25% of the level of the Hyatt Regency at O’Hare airport."
