„The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay.“

„Tim is an excellent host and responds quickly. The house was spacious enough for 6 adults and 4 kids. The a/c units in each room kept us nice and cool during the hot memorial weekend. The kiddos had a blast catching a bunch of fish, crappie, bluegill, and catfish. “

„This was just a one-night stopover on our way to a family reunion in Oregon, but it was really pleasant. Google maps took us to a neighboring apartment complex (across the backyard fence from the home) but once we found our way, everything was really nice. Also appreciate the property's dog-friendly policy! We used the BBQ, had a nice dinner, slept well (thanks to the AC, which worked well and quickly), and were on our way. Thanks again!“

„Great location for a visit to Lassen Park. Lovely view of the woods and stars and conveniently located off the main highway and within easy driving distance to Chester for groceries and restaurants. We loved the covered porch and grill and the adorable birds nests. The baby birds were super cute.“

„We loved this cabin (#3)! Four of us ladies stayed here for several nights and we appreciated how light and bright the cabin was. Looks like it was fairly recently redone and had plenty of room for us to cook and eat at the table in the kitchen.“

„Simple living with a "front row covered porch seat" to view the lake. Spent the first hour of our mini vacation on the porch watching the rain fall and listening to thunder. What a treat!Minor maintenance issue taken care of immediately! Don't hesitate to rent this cute and cozy studio cabin.Excellent dining very near. All in all a delightful 3 days.“

„This was a great house. The lake access was about a mile down the road and the only bummer about staying here. It looks close, but it’s all private property across the street. “

„This home has everything! We chose this VRBO for its location—I wanted to be surrounded by tall redwoods, and it was absolutely delivered. The home was the perfect size for us, cozy and comfortable. The backyard overlooks the golf course, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet at night.We cooked breakfast and dinner just like we were at home, thanks to the well-equipped kitchen. „Very clean, very nice property!! Had everything you could want all the amenities!! Coffemaker, hot pot, grinder. Whole bean coffee, teas. Lots of games, nice patio area!! Easy check in and out. Would definitely stay again! Sadly did not have time for the pool :( “

„This is a perfectly located property. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with space between other homes. The backyard is wonderful and large. And the home is clean and has everything that would be needed. It actually is more spacious than the pictures can show. There’s so much to offer in Mt. Shasta and this property is a nice central location to access nature as well as town.“

"Die Fenster waren nicht dicht. Es war sehr laut. Die Handtücher etwas angegraut und schmutzig. Beim Versuch deine warme Dusche zu nehmen hatte man die Duscharmatur in der Hand und mußte kalt duschen. Wir haben dies an der Rezeption bemängelt und die Duscharmatur vorgelegt. Dies fand die Dame lustig. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung. Beim Frühstück, das auch kein Highlight war, war jeder Toast einzeln in zwei Folien eingepackt !!! Ein Hinweis, daß das Waschbecken nicht im Badezimmer ist, wäre hilfreich. Das war auf den Bildern für uns nicht zu erkennen. Insgesamt war es zu teuer. "
