Englewood, Venice fairly close. Visit the Marie Selby Gardens, Marietta Museum of Art & Whimsy. Sarasota and Fort Meyers are about 45 min. At the end of the day, grill out and relax on the screened porch with breeze from the ceiling fan. Take a drive to Port Charlotte Beach Park and watch the sunset and stop at Sweet Scoops Ice Cream, but go early there will be a line.
