„Stayed here for two nights while visiting Bath. Loved the room (named "Jake") with its compact space and the layout between the room and the bathroom. You just can't get places that have character like this in the States. Ate dinner both nights in the restaurant which was very good. On both nights (weeknights) the restaurant was full. „Der Aufenthalt war ziemlich genau so wie erwartet: Ein typisches älteres Kleinstadthotel in der englischen Provinz. Sehr zuvorkommender Service, aber auch etwas umtriebig. Das Restaurant war für den Abend leider ausgebucht, sonst hätten wir dort gegessen. Frühstück einfach, typisch englisch, aber ok. Das geräumige Zimmer war bei Ankunft sehr kalt - es wäre angenehmer gewesen, wenn das Personal die mehreren vorhandenen Elektroöfen und Radiatoren bereits vor unserer Ankunft eingeschaltet hätte. ...
