The Neighborhood:
Marathon Village, a unique neighborhood of sorts that has become quite a Nashville hotspot, is made up of a group of 100-year-old warehouse buildings which was originally where the Marathon, a car made in the early 1900s, was built. Fast forward to today, and it has become a complex for artists’, photographers’, and designers’ studios. Marathon village a gentrifying and on-the-rise neighborhood that is centrally located to all of Nashville's best hotspots.

The building used to house the Marathon Factory back in 1910, which produced the Marathon Automobile. | Parking | Free parking for one vehicle is available on a first come first serve basis, inside our gated parking lot. Ample free street parking is also available for additional vehicles or if the lot is full.

The best way to reach the apartment is using a cab, or Uber. Should you chose to use Uber, we would recommend downloading the app and you will be able to use this to call for the Uber once you have picked up your luggage from the airport. The estimate cost for each brand of Uber varies but starts at approximately $25.

| Same-Day Bookings | We work hard to make our homes available for same day booking for those guests in need. With that said, we require a 2-hour processing time from the point that your pre-arrival form is completed, to process and approve it, and provide access details. We ask that guests that are booking the same day refrain from arriving before completing the pre-arrival form and confirmation that their reservation has been approved for check-in.

| Locals | Due to restrictions placed on us by our landlord and as a condition pertaining to our ability to host, we are unable to accept reservations from guests local to the area (within 60 miles of the listing's city). Very Satisfied

I’m very happy with my stay. The property management staff were very attentive and worked to ensure everything was up to our standards. I saw a few reviews complain about how “loud” the train was, but it wasn’t as bad for us as they made it seem. That said, I suggest not picking a place right beside train tracks if you’re sensitive to noise Thanks Abode!

Vrbo should tell us about host requirements before we book a stay. This includes all the documents you must provide, the business practices of the host organization, the neighborhood you'll be staying in and the accuracy of the Vrbo platform in general. I will not recommend vrbo again.

Nashville Work Trip

Hosts were timely in their communication and the property was as described. Nice unit, with full kitchen and two bedrooms. Very clean, and they did work with me on having an early arrival, which I was very thankful for. Just as a heads up, they (the hosts) will make you fill out a form outside of Vrbo that will ask for a photo of your ID, and a couple of other things. The apartment complex itself is nice and gated like it says. It is on the edge of an interesting part of town though. I would recommend the gated parking to the street parking, though that will get dicy on the weekend. Overall, great experience though, and unit was quite nice.

Very cute & clean near downtown

This little apartment is charming, very nicely decorated. The GOOD: Recently remodeled with new kitchen & bathroom. Short drive to downtown Nashville and only 15 minutes to Nashville Airport. Comfortable beds, nice linens, complete kitchen with all the basics. The BAD: The PARKING. Once you find the proper parking entrance around the corner from the condo entrance, you have to get out of the car to enter the gate code, unless you pull up in the car and enter the code then have to back up so you can drive in. STEPS/STAIRS. LOTS of concrete STEPS and inclines from the parking lot in back of the buildings to the closer parking lot in front of the buildings which we were not allowed to use... and then more steps down to the courtyard from the front parking lot, and then MORE steps up to the door of the building. It was very difficult for one of our guests who was a 68 yr old legally blind person. If the description of the place had been forthcoming about all the steps & inclines/declines in the long walk between the parking and the condo entrance, we would not have selected this place. Also, the place needs some hooks for guests to hang towels and robes, etc in the bedrooms & bathroom.... and a full-length mirror in each bedroom. Could be $12 mirror from Walmart and would help a lot. Another major inconvenience was the microwave oven didn't work. I reported it but we were too busy to be dealing with emails. A phone call from the host would have been nice. The 5th day of our 6 day stay we finally found the breaker box behind a large mirror in the hall and fixed the microwave ourselves. And speaking of phone calls vs emails - I'd suggest this host company include the telephone number in EVERY email. The electronic lock on our door locked us out of the condo the night before we left, 8 degrees outside, and It took a lot of searching thru their emails to finally find one that included the phone number for us to call to get the code reset so we could get inside, out of the sub-freezine weather. All in all, I'd say it wasn't the best place for our group, but for younger people it would probably be great.

Incredible and cozy place, minutes away from downtown

Our stay and the apartment was amazing. It is a very modern, well equipped and beautifully furnished two bedroom apartment. As opposed to many short term rentals that you get the process for checking in and entering the property was great, the communication was very fluid and all the minimum amenities (like towels, soap and dishwasher pods) were well stocked and in great conditions. The beds were amazing as well, incredible sleep. The location couldn't be better. It is a neighborhood that is not the prettiest, but it is so close to downtown that is perfect. You get parking, and can easily Uber into broadway street. The only comment I might have is that the location is close to the train tracks, so at 5 am you can hear a train passing by. It woke me up, but my wife and my parents never heard it at all. Also the property provides ear plugs, wear them if you could be sensitive to this kind of noise.
