"A dream stay that deserves more than 5 stars! I chose Villa Petriolo for its absolute calm in the heart of Tuscany and its proximity to Florence, but most importantly, as the setting for my marriage proposal. I couldn't have picked a more perfect place. The estate is breathtaking, the rooms are flawless, and the facilities are of an incredible standard. We were also lucky enough to receive a room upgrade for one night from the manager, a gesture that truly touched us and made our stay even more special. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the exceptional staff. They are incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. I want to give a special thanks to Lucia and Rita, who were so enthusiastic about my proposal plans. They went above and beyond to help me find the perfect spot on the property to pop the question at sunset. Their support and kindness made the moment even more magical. The culinary experience was equally impressive. Having a 1-star Michelin restaurant on-site is a huge plus, and the quality of the breakfast was simply outstanding - one of the best we’ve ever had. If you are looking for luxury, peace, and world-class service in Tuscany, I cannot recommend Villa Petriolo enough. Thank you to the entire team, the manager, and especially Lucia and Rita for making our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back!"

"Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit Charme aber auch mit Alterserscheinungen. Die Fassade ist sehr ansprechend. Die Bestuhlung im Resturant könnte gereinigt und überarbeitet werden. Der Pool ist ruhig gelegen. Poolliegen sind im überschaubaren Rahmen vorhanden. Die Damen an der Rezeption sind sehr bemüht und stets freundlich! Das Personal im Resturant hingegen ist kein Aushängeschild für ein 5 Sternehaus. Das Frühstücksbuffet war überschaubar und trotzdem fehlte ständig etwas. Auf Bitte an die drei Damen im Resturantbereich das Buffet aufzufüllen gab es nur unhöfliche Reaktionen. Unglaublich. So etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt. Die Restaurantleitung war am unfreundlichsten. Ihre Laune lies die Dame sowohl u.a. uns als Gäste, aber auch gegenüber den Angestellten spüren. Die Dame selbst war im überschaubaren Rahmen bemüht das Buffet aufzufüllen. Wenn sich das Personal im Resturantbereich an den sehr netten Damen der Rezeption orientieren würde, dann wäre es ein großer Mehrwert für dieses schöne Hotel."

"Der Ort und die Hotelanlage sind sehr besonders im positiven Sinne. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit aber nicht immer gut organisiert. Insbesondere beim Frühstück zu späteren Zeiten, kurz vor Schluss, hatte man weder das Buffet noch die Tischverteilung und auch die Versorgung mit Kaffee nicht mehr im Griff. Aber das ist nebensächlich, der ganze Ort ist besonders und erwacht Abends zum Leben."
