We had a bust on our attempt to visit Machu Pichu for this vacation as Peru shut down the wonder due to political unrest. In an effort to recoup our loss, we decided to spend time in Miami before catching our flight home. We found this place and chose it because it was cheaper and seemed to be a nice little place to hangout. This property is great if you plan to spend all of your time on the beach. The beach is clean and big, and although we didn't spend any time on the beach, many guests were out there seeming to have a wonderful time. The sunrise was beautiful! The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Love the birds in the lobby too! Super fun to watch. We did not visit the restaurant or the lobby bar..
What we did not appreciate:
Room service needs 24 hour notice to clean your room AND they charge you to do so. The pool and outdoor bar were under construction and not in service. Be sure to check their website or call to see when it will be reopened before booking. Our room had tattered/stained carpets, peeling paint in the bathroom, I could see mold growing through the caulk in the shower, the smell of weed permeated throughout our floor and the jets in the tub did not work. The resort fee is not included in the price when you book, so be prepared to pay an extra $28/day upon your departure.
The hotel is located right at the end of an interchange with many stoplights, so be prepared for honking horns.
The pictures online are deceiving. Overall disappointed...
