The Neighborhood:
In the heart of Little Gables, this house is an amazing getaway and retreat. The home is a great space to work remotely from with a relaxing spacious backyard. In a great neighborhood walking distance to downtown Coral Gables and short drives to Brickell (16 min. drive), Downtown Miami (16 min. drive) and Miami Beach (20 min. drive). We have many great recommendations for dinner or fun outdoor activities close by that we hope to share.

Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are readily available and reliable throughout the neighborhood and all of South Florida, making it easy to get around hassle-free.

Other Things to Note:
This is a residential neighborhood with a neighborhood watch program. We adhere to a zero tolerance policy - Your reservation will be cancelled without refund and property will be vacated if a disturbance is reported!

Little Gables is at the center of it all, it is a 10 minute drive from anywhere in Miami, with access to public transportation and plenty of Ubers and to top it all off, easy and free street parking.

Several blocks East and you will reach 8th street (Calle Ocho), there you will find local restaurants, bars and cabarets, a gorgeous Art Deco movie theater showing foreign and independent films, souvenir shops, fruit stands, art galleries and several live music venues including the historic Ball and Chain. Marlins Park is a $5 Uber Ride Away and I highly recommend catching a game if you have the time, it is a great experience.

If you head South to Coconut Grove you have: great restaurants, local bars and shops, paddle-boarding, kayaking, biking, Viscaya or The Barnacle.

If you head East you can go to Miracle Mile for some shopping and dining or hang with the local crowd at a happy hour at Tarpon Bend, Hillstone or Bulla. You can also go to Venetian Pools or grab brunch at the Biltmore.

The free trolley or the metro bus takes you to Brickell or Downtown Miami, where you will find lounges, restaurants, museums, Bayside, Miami Airlines Arena, Opera House and lots more.

The inside of the property was clean. However, the house right next door has a bunch of cats. The lady next door is a cat lover with million and one cats. one block to the left is a trailer park home. I noticed there were small hairs on the bed that looks like cat or dog hair , not sure. They had washing machine & dryere available so I purchased soap up the Street at the Walgreens and wash everything on the bed. There were lille bugs crawling on my bed, and in the bathroom . I took pictures & videos and send to the owner. They said they were not previously aware of the situation but I am almost certain that they were aware of it. A recommendation that I would make is for a full set of cooking appliance’s. There are enough forks, spoons, tea cups, drinking glasses and wine glasses. Those are very clean and well kept . A new set of pots would be appreciated . The washing machine & dryer are a nice fit and combination which comes in very useful .

The apartment is small but was nice and clean and good for 3 of us. The kitchen was well equipped with the utensils etc. We were there only for 2 days and so we did not use those though. Property manager was very responsive with communication. Only concern we had was that the house next door has nearly 20 cats and so it becomes very difficult to walk around as the cats are freely roaming. I am allergic to cats and so knowing that ahead of time would have been beneficial. With so many cats around we struggled to get in at night as the outdoor light was not working. We contacted the apartment manager who sent the electrician the next day. But he was not able to resolve the light issue as the outlet was permanently disabled. Overall our stay was okay. I would not stay in this property again.

Completely suited our needs. The next door home and property was certainly "rough", with cats everywhere. Would be nice to have some sort of driveway versus pulling into the grass and partially on the sidewalk.

It was a nice check-in procedure with a couple of arrival gifts although it was hard to find in the dark. The unit was clean and well organized but beds were rather uncomfortable. Linens were very clean but don’t get anything on them as you will be charged. There is no dishwasher so with only 3 glasses it became more of a chore to eat at home on a holiday.

House was clean, beds were comfortable and sheets were white and crip just like in the hotels. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will stay again in the future. The only con would be the washing machine is old and does not wash clothes at all.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mykonos. Check in/out was incredibly easy, the space was perfect for our party and the VRBO was very centrally located. Definitely don't plan on staying at the duplex with a large group as the living room space and dining options are very limited. Victor and his team really went above and beyond while we were there. Communication 10/10 and they even got us a new coffee maker when we reported a leak with the one they had. Above and beyond. Thank you for making our stay so special! Will absolutely rent again.

The property is just as described in a great location with easy access to public transportation. We spent two days in Miami before departing on a cruise and it was an easy to Uber ride from the airport to the house. We loved exploring the Calle Ocho strip via the free trolley system. Hop on, hop off to a great adventure. Easy Uber rides to LoanDepot Park and the Port of Miami too. The house is perfect for four adults/two couples and each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. The outside sitting area is perfect for coffee in the morning or evening cocktails. Great communication with the hosts, who were very helpful.

It was so clean and very comfortable. The beds were excellent and I’ve not slept so good on a vacation in such a long time. The neighborhood was nice and convenient to the highways to wherever we wanted. I would definitely choose this place again whenever I’m in the area.

Our stay in Miami was unplanned so our accommodations for 4 people was important. The communication between me and Shannon’s assistant was very professional. The duplex is well furnished. Not at all overdone. We stayed for a week and had plenty of closets to spread out in. The beds were comfortable after very exhausting days. The kitchen had plenty of amenities to prepare a light breakfast, lunch or dinner. I highly recommend this location to be close to the airport, Calle Ocho, and Coral Gables. We were grateful to have stayed here!
