Extremely Disappointed – This Listing Should Not Be ActiveUnfortunately, this property does not deserve any stars. We booked this trip from July 3–6 to celebrate my daughter’s graduation, but the experience was frustrating and disappointing from the start.We had a few questions before arrival, so we reached out to the owner via the VRBO app—no response. I then called, but her voicemail was full, so I couldn’t leave a message. I also sent a text and got no reply. My wife tried calling as well, with no success, and eventually received a text from the owner saying:"I am very sorry I do not have access to the app. I am fully booked up to August. I have no way of managing or removing my listing as access was blocked by VRBO."This raises serious concerns:If the owner has been blocked from accessing the platform, why is this property still listed and bookable on VRBO?Why is VRBO charging for a rental that should not have been available in the first place?If what the owner is saying is untrue, that’s also deeply concerning.Either way, this is unacceptable. We expected a reliable listing and clear communication but received neither. I strongly urge others to verify listings with VRBO directly before booking.At minimum, VRBO needs to investigate this listing and ensure other travelers don’t run into the same issue.We got our money back, but we had to speak to 3 people from VRBO to get quality customer services. This ruined our planned vacation.
