Check-in was quick and the staff were genuinely very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we felt safe and well taken care of at the resort. The location was great, especially being right by the beach, which we really enjoyed.
Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. The options were repetitive and lacked flavor, so we often chose to leave the resort to eat elsewhere. On New Year’s Eve, there was no prior notice that the buffet would be closed. We were advised to order room service instead, which took about 45 minutes and included an unexpected delivery fee.
Our room also had an unpleasant sewage-like smell at times, and the walls were quite thin—you could easily hear people walking by and noise from neighboring rooms. The drinks were also below expectations.
While the staff and beachside location were definite highlights, the food quality, room issues, and noise level took away from the overall experience.
