Property/grounds were beautiful, clean and very well maintained. Maids did a great job cleaning the room and making beds, etc.; however, the walls in our room were covered in mold and our mini bar/toiletries were never refilled, so we ended up restocking the fridge/t.p./etc. ourselves. The mold (which we only noticed in the final days there unfortunately) resulted in my son and I having a horrible cough while we were in the room/sleeping, so we're hoping that no long term damage has been done. Staff were very friendly (other than one man who completely judged us when my husband and I asked for 2 beer each), but service was very slow and we received next to none at the pool, so we had to order and deliver our own food most of the time. I'm not one to typically complain, but there were times that we sat for half an hour or so before anyone even noticed we were there (in a restaurant), and at one point, our bucket of beer took 1.5 hrs to receive (poolside)! Coffee shop was great, but wait times were ridiculously long! It was impossible to get a seat next to the main pools, so we never used those and stuck to the side pool, which was away from the beach, and even that wasn't easy to get a seat. That's no fault of the hotel itself, but worth noting that visitors have zero etiquette and will get up at 5:00 or 6:00 am to claim chairs, then half the time they're not even using them for hours! Food was great and I have more to say but I'm out of space now!
