„Das B&B ist ein wunderschönes viktorianisches Haus, das toll gelegen ist. Es ist von Hilton, dem Gastgeber, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und ist tadellos. „Good hotel with good views and clean rooms. Rooms we stayed were compact with Mountain views. A great location in Ambleside. Bus stops with Public Buses towards Windermere are next door. The hotel didn't have lifts but the climb on the stairs didn't seem steep.but older people might struggle a bit. There's a £12 parking charge per day. Breakfast was included but very limited options and a limited window for an hour“

„Ein eher älteres Bed and Breakfast Hotel mit winziger Dusche und WC einige Treppenstufen tiefer als das Zimmer. Zimmer sehr gemütlich und nett eingerichtet. Sogar eine Bettheizung ist vorhanden. “

„We stayed for one night at the Woolpack. Lovely location, nice food, very comfy beds. Our only downside was breakfast. It starts at 0800am, a few guests had arrived then and sat down. Staff did not seem ready. Still bringing out juice, milk, glasses etc… Did not take food order until nealy 0815 and the food did not arrive until 0845. “

"Außenanlagen, äußeres Erscheinungsbild sehr gepflegt, sehr schönes, viktorianischesGebäude. Fenster nur minimal zu öffnen, Aussicht auf Mülltonnen, Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig. Abendessen, 3- Gang- Menu akzeptabel, aber Preis- Leistungs - Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Die oben angeführten Kritikpunkte werden wahrscheinlich relativiert bei schönem Wetter durch die landschaftlich herrliche Umgebung und die damit verbundenen vielfältigen Freizeitmöglichkeiten Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt im August leider das Pech wegen des extrem schlechten Wetters - ca 14 Grad, Regen und starkem Wind- praktisch nichts im Freien unternehmen zu können. "
