„The property was very clean and comfortable with an amazing restaurant. The room was much larger than it appeared in pictures and had a large bathroom and every amenity needed. The resort was wonderful except for the pool and jacuzzi area. The pool was very cold and appeared to be dirty or unfiltered. The hot tub was moderately warm but also appeared to be unfiltered as the emptied and refilled it daily. Not recommended to come to this resort for the pool. “

„Overall nice stay. The view on a clear day is beautiful, the breakfast buffet is good, the pool area is lovely, massages were great. Staff is kind - shout out to Nelson who helped me recover my passport lost in a plane. On the downside the steam room and sauna were not working well, we did not get house cleaning on our second day and we did not like that the shower water dripped onto the whole bathroom floor. Just feedback for the team which I’m sure can be remedied. “

„This was my 7th stay at the Sunny Guest House in Bhaktapur. The staff has always been amazing. Very attentive. Nice sized rooms. Very clean. Hot water. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Kathmandu. “

„We enjoyed our stay at this cosy homestay very much. The room was clean and comfortable with our own bathroom including a shower. There is also a nice little garden and a terrace where you can have breakfast. The owner was very friendly and gave us good advice on where to go and what to see in beautiful Bhaktapur. Each morning we received a delicious breakfast (better than at some quite expensive hotel we had stayed in Nepal). We can totally recommend to stay here. We had a good time.“

„The property was beautifully designed, comfortable and the breakfast provided was delicious. The only downside was the courtyard was very brightly lit at night and the curtains were very thin white fabric which meant the room was not dark at nighttime and prevented me from a good nights sleep. „Beautiful hotel with so many flowers around that you felt like you were in a magical garden. The staff always had a smile and took care of every need. My "villa" was in the forest where it was quiet and peaceful, except the day the hotel next to us had a wedding, lol. And the view from the rooftop of the hotel was spectacular despite the haze of the summer. If you're goal is a view of the snow capped mountains, go in September- November. But that did not disappoint me. “

„Das Personal war sehr nett. Die Aussicht ist, sofern es der Nebel oder die Wolken zulassen, phänomenal. Man kann schön spazieren gehen. Aber mehr als zwei Nächte sind nicht zu empfehlen. Wer Probleme mit der Bandscheibe hat, wird bei den abenteuerlichen Strassenverhältnissen Richtung Hotel keinen Spaß haben. Die Fotos die man vom Hotel online sieht, spiegelt nicht das wieder was man vor Ort zu sehen bekommt. Das Gebäude ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es fanden aber zumindest Umbauarbeiten ...
