„What an amazing corner of the world. Very remote, peaceful and quiet. The hiking was wonderful. The cabin had everything we needed once we had our kitchen stocked with food. My only advice is that it would be nice to know before arrival that the nearest grocery store is 90 minutes away. We could have shopped ahead of time and saved a 3 hour round trip to Oban. Thank you Allan for a clean modern cabin for 9 days.....“

Hot tub is a great experience, takes a wee bit of tweaking to get the fire right if you are a total novice like me. Instructions given are very good. Loved the barbeque hut with its 'viking' feel. „We all really enjoyed staying in Dalavich. Pretty nice and green area to relax and forget about everything. With 6 people, it was a little bit tight after a while, but still a really nice place to be. Hope to be there again as soon as possible! The house with all it wood let it feel warm even in the chilly scottish nights :)“

„Our favourite place to visit is the argyll and bute area, coming from the central belt with an eye to moving further north we really appreciate having nature on your doorstep and as a result we fell in love with this place. The hosts are very helpful, giving us updates on the day of arrival was so appreciated. Perfect spot for kayaking, fishing and hiking with a lovely, well kept lodge to return to at the end of the day. We're already looking to go back!“

„Lovely setting , Rowan Cafe was lovely and the staff were great. There is no food currently been served in the grill bar which is a shame but the bar was lovely was cosy. We had a few issues with the cabin but nothing to spoil our holiday.“

„Die Lodge ist wunderschön direkt am Loch Awe gelegen inmitten einer Ferienanlage. Prinzipiell wäre auch die Einrichtung schön, ebenso wie die Glasfront zum See (sehr schön). Auch der Hot Tub ist toll. Aber leider - das Innere war sehr ungepflegt. Staub von vielen Monaten auf den Nachtkästchen und in den Fensternischen, Brotkrümel auf Boden und Sofas, völlig verdreckte Teller und Gläser, verdreckte Fensterscheiben; auch die Toiletten waren nicht wirklich sauber und mussten zuerst von uns noch ...

„We absolutely loved this cottage, peaceful location with stunning views of a 13th Century castle with hens, deer and bird life in your 'front garden'. Very clean and wonderful walks to the loch through woodland. Aldo great location to reach other parts of this wonderful isle of Mull. Richard and Kirsty are also are brilliant hosts.
