We immediately contacted the owner who said it was barbecue smoke that we were smelling. We decided to leave due to the condition of the room/property and the strong odor. Unfortunately, we were still charged and when we contacted Expedia about this; we were offered only a partial refund due to their non-refundable cancellation ...
