Location was perfect! Far enough away from town to escape the chaos but close enough to the main things we wanted to do. The kids really enjoyed the pool table and the media room.

It was perfect for my family of 4 plus my husband's parents. There was plenty to do for all the ages and the location is perfect being between Gaitlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Servielle. We are planning on coming back.

Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit
The cabin itself was nice. There was plenty of space for our family and we had a yearling bear on our porch several times just looking for food. While the theater is nice the WiFi does not support watching a movie without buffering occurring several times. The Sauna has no thermometer or hygrometer so you have no way of telling temp or humidity. It also appears as if the heater was undersized as it took about 90 minutes to get hot, still not typical sauna temp and I was not sweating like I normally do. The hot tub was nice but holy spider webs. They were everywhere on the deck! The cleanliness of this unit was atrocious! From the used bandaid to someone’s underwear left in the dresser and several other things, far too many to list. We have rented several other places through VRBO and the Lazy Daze cabin (Elk River Springs) was definitely it up to par. To top it off our check-in was pushed back due to needing to clean the unit, apparently they skipped this one all together. If renting this I suggest you bring a full array of cleaning supplies and set some time aside to do a deep cleaning.

More than anything, the customer service was excellent. It was prompt and incredibly courteous. You could tell the house was cleaned and the property was beautiful. My family enjoyed the theater room. I had never really watched a movie in one before. I didn't realize what a bonding experience it could be. Thankful for the opportunity. We also loved the game room with pool and fooseball. Our favorite spot was the porch with the rocking chairs. Lots of time spent out there. It was a great vacation. There were some small issues. One of the bunk beds looked like it was made but it was missing sheets. It also had crumbs all over it. We didn't discover that until late that first night. When I contacted the office they were ready to run a set over to our place but we used a spare set from another room. Also, the hot tub was running when we first got there, but when we went to use it the next day it wasn't. They had a tech out there within a short amount of time and texted us every step of the way. After two visits they couldn't get it fixed so they gave us a compensation. Not a perfect experience but that's how life goes. The owners showed great care in fixing the hiccups.

Birthday getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental was easy except they send you a contract to sign the day you check in and I was told if I didn’t get it I would not be able to stay. But they use a website that Gmail considers “high risk” so they sent it to your trash
