„I was very disappointed in the shape of this motel. I chose it since it was the closest to my destination. Based on the reviews, I thought I would give it a try. The clerk said that he was giving us a newly remodeled room, so I was quite hopeful that it would be our new hotel used for our visits to Comstock Park. The room was dark and clearly not remodeled, except for a newer bedspread and couch. the bathroom only had one hand towel, wash cloth and towel. Which was ok in the end since we would ...

„Hotel staff was amazing. However, this is more of a long term, live in, motel. Photos on Expedia are very deceiving. Permanent residents can be confrontational and make you uncomfortable. Make sure you have a full inventory of any pool supplies/toys, or you will be accused of stealing from the long term residents. If the listing was actually accurate we definitely would NOT have booked here.“

„Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Nicht weit vom Fluss und Downtown entfernt. Zimmer und Bad sehr geräumig und groß. Betten und Kissen gemütlich. Frühstück mit großer Auswahl und lecker. Die Dame am Check-in war weniger bemüht und etwas lustlos, da hatten wir wohl gerade etwas Pech gehabt. Das tat dem Ganzen aber keinen Abbruch. “

After calling the front desk 4 times we were finally offered a different room. Kitchen is not fully equipped - e.g. we only had one spoon. We booked the hotel mainly for the location and bc it has a pool. The pool however was open only 1 day during our 7 day stay - first the pool got new water, then it had problems with some chemicals. „Everything on this property that I saw appeared clean & updated with colorful/pleasing design. Lots of families with children appeared to be enjoying breakfast and the pool, yet the hotel was still quiet. 2 different front desk ladies seemed to be offended that we asked for additional blankets. Each replied, “There is one in your closet”, to which we replied, “There are 4 people in our room”. However, housekeeping was very kind when they brought more blankets. Will definitely stay here again ...
