„Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. „This location is absolutely fantastic. Direct access to the Frio river for swimming, fishing or just enjoying the beautiful view. We were a family group of all ages, and everyone had a wonderful time. Easy communication with the owner for questions. Highly recommend.“

„This cabin and the facility is a GEM ! Right in the middle of every reason you want to visit the area. The cabin is a true definition of Glamping ! Everything you need to enjoy the time. „They did a wonderful job of creating a beautiful and comfortable interior in a grain bin. Two very large 2-queen bed bedrooms with a shower ensuite in one and a tub ensuite in the other which is also accessible to the large living area. Also have a queen futon in the living area. Have a nice collections of games, books and DVD's to enjoy. Nice firepit. This property was PERFECT for stargazing by night and animal spotting during the day. „We loved our stay at Whiskey Mountain! The cabin was just what we needed and the perfect getaway for our time there. Having a kitchen for home cooked meals and drinking coffee on the porch while watching the sunrise made the weekend extra special. The cabin was close to things too, like restaurants, the market, and awesome things to check out. If I’m ever back this way I will definitely be checking into whiskey mountain again! Thank you!“

„Exactly as described. Plenty of space for several people. The river has good catch and release for small fish. Best place to swim is to the right and over the gravel road the tree with the rope will mark the best area. Water gets to about 7 feet there, its deceiving due to how clear it is. Garner state park is a short drive (if you've never been its a must!)the merchant store less than a mile away has any forgotten items and then some. The hosts are excellent communicators. „A group of us always try and get away a few days each year. This year we chose the Hill Country, and we could not have picked a better spot. We all love to cook, so the smoker, grill and amazing kitchen were perfect for great dinners. The pool was immaculate, and porch time was very relaxing. Could not recommend enough. “

„The property was in a great location, close to the river front, a short walk from the house. Its very close to stores for a quick supply run. River levels were good. The kids & dogs loved it! Hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive & accomodating. No issues at all with anything. We arrived to a very clean house and it ammomdated our group of 10 very comfortably! We will defintiely rebook for next summer!“
