„The cabin was perfect! Every beautiful detail giving us insight into the life and history of a Hill Country ranch. The grounds with its many bird feeders and wildflower gardens provided a rich experience. We saw about 40 species of birds on the cabin grounds and a total of 81 species including the surrounding areas! Driving on farm roads carpeted in wildflowers was a delightful plus. Highly recommended for anyone - nature lovers or birders especially! A real paradise!!“

„This little cabin is exactly what we were hoping for! Secluded, great covered patios in front and back, and back patio is so relaxing! Hummingbird feeder, bird feeders and birdbath all get a lot of activity, plus a great view of the deer, turkeys and hogs when they come out to eat. This place had everything we needed…charcoal grill, cookware, coffee, etc. very clean as well. Buddy the cat was great company too! Definitely would come back!“

„Played Cornhole games in the yard. Had a campfire at night. BBQ,'d during the day. Fished and floated just below the house. The water was cold but was easy to get the body used to. „This property has a great location. Super close to everything you need on River Rd. It is stocked with the basic necessities. Plenty of space for everyone. Some of the other reviews mentioned the a/c not keeping up. There are notes near each thermostat telling you exactly how low you can go with the temp. I’m 51. 72 is warm for me but the other guests were ok. We were also on the river during hottest parts of the day. It cooled down nicely at night. 😊“

„The house was nice and had old styling which we loved. The stairs to the river were steep like mentioned in several other reviews but we were all able to get up and down them from ages 5 to 40. River was nice once down there and was perfect depth for 5 and 10 year olds and deep spots were a short walk either way as well as a 4’ waterfall up river. Three of the rooms and a bathroom on the right side of the house are recently renovated but the other rooms are nice as well. I recommend this place ...
