„Das Appartement war sehr modern und schön ausgestattet. Alles da was man braucht. So richtig zum Wohlfühlen. Bei der Buchung sollte man sich nur im Klaren sein, daß Hatteras sehr weit im Süden der Outer Banks liegt. Wenn man Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht - perfekt. Die Fahrt in den nördlichen Teil der Outer Banks zieht sich ziemlich. Also gut überlegen was man bei einem Aufenthalt dort tun möchte. The Villas at Hatteras Landing ist als Unterkunft wunderschön. “

„Die Ferienanlage ist sehr großzügig und liegt direkt am Atlantik. In der Anlage gibt es zwei Pools, Tennisplätze, Shuffleboards, Grillplätze, Beachbar, Entertainment, uvm. Unsere Unterkunft war groß, gut ausgestattet, aber leicht schmutzig. Dies kann aber auch vom Hurrikan "Irene" herkommen. Unser Gesamteindruck war wirklich gut, die Outer Banks sind immer einen Urlaub, eine Woche ist ausreichend, wert.“

„Fabulous little place! Has pools ourside and 1 inside with a hot tub. The beds are super comfortable. The only thing I did not like was the beach was a bit of a walk at 2.5 blocks. And you had to cross 4 lanes of bust traffic during the day. At night it was not an issue as much. I think there needs to a crosswalk put in to help with crossing the road safely. “

„Unit was great - no issues. Very responsive communications from the owner. You can walk right out onto the beach which was nice. Location is in southern Nag's Hed which faciliates getting to the Hatteras National Park and Manteo.“

„Do not hesitate to rent the studio. First time I slept on a fold out couch bed with memory foam mattress. A comfortable sleep and the outdoor bathroom was wonderful!“

„We enjoyed our long weekend away at Stella Maris. There was plenty of room for a party of 7 adults. Only suggestion would be very minor upkeep in cleanliness (dusty vents, broom in the kitchen but no dust pan, scraps of old food in the utensils drawer). Otherwise the home was cozy, centrally located, and had gorgeous oceanfront views. Thank you for opening your home to us! “

He let us check in about 30 minutes early upon our arrival, which I appreciated so much being that we had a 5 week old newborn with us. The cottage was as described and very clean. „We stayed for a week mid-May, family of 5. Property was as described and pictured. Classic beach/lake house vibe. Plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances. New towels. Great pool with plenty of loungers. There is a very short walk over thru the dunes to the beach, right behind the house, the beach is very quiet and clean, lots of wildlife, crabs, birds....We visited some other beaches further north and this one was much cleaner and much less crowded. Maybe one group of people every 300-400 ...

„The location and comfort of this home is everything OBX. The spaces are comfortable, the amentities sufficient, the response form the owner was quick. The pool is in a great location for keeping sand out of it! The hot tub overlooks the dune for early morning sun rise soaks. We had a wonderful time and experience in this property.“

"Wer es gerne rustikal mag, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Das Brett ist sehr gut, die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Personal ist super nett und alles ist eher familiär. Leider war ziemlich viel Sand im Zimmer und am ersten Morgen musste ich einen nicht eingegangenen sechsbeinigen Mitbewohner entfernen. Ansonsten haben wir uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt. "

"The location is beautiful especially with the priveate beach access. Also the main building l9kks nice and well maintained. Our room was in one of the side buildings. There as soon as you leave the room itself it feels a bit dirty and worn down. The doors and walls in the hallway have bumps and scratches. The carpet is torn and has stains. But the worst are the stair cases. The windows are covered with spider webs and dead bugs. All of this could be avoided easily and would lead to a better impression."
