We were assured before our stay that the most recent review was some sort of revenge post and was inaccurate. So if they try to tell you the same thing, do not believe them. This house is completely rundown, needs a DEEP clean, and should not be being rented out until a number of things have been fixed. We tried working with the property manager on our first day and she wanted maintenance to come out but 1) our dog was at the house, 2) we were at the beach and didn’t want to deal with having to be there when maintenance was there, and 3) it would require maintenance and a cleaning crew to be there for a week straight to get this house up to standard. We have never in our two decades of renting homes left a bad review, but here we are. There is enough room for all the issues, so the following are the highlights:
- broken window in bedroom and broken screens
- flies and bugs everywhere
- sheets and towels from previous renters left behind
- moldy kitchen appliances
- terrible wifi
- multiple broken outlets
- dirty walls and kitchen cabinets
- mold on ceilings and coming out of air vents
- air filters look like they haven’t been changed in years
- nightstands and cabinets in kitchen covered in sand
- toilet bowl cleaners next to toilets look like they are covered in feces
- missing shower liners in multiple bathrooms
- missing lightbulbs in multiple lamps
- paint chipping all over the deck
- nails sticking up on deck
- pool lounge chairs dirty and cracked
