Not quite as expected
The property feels more like a frat house and less like a vacation home. We were disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the home and the lack of amenities that were described in the listing. The communication from the host was minimal even though we requested a repair of the broken toilet seat, it was in the main bathroom so it was in to be in constant use. This request went unanswered. There are several issues with the property, that I left for the property manager that I won’t address here, but there were enough I felt the need to address them in our first 10 minutes of checking in. We weren’t as happy as we should’ve been using VRBO. This maybe my first and last time using this platform. Definitely not a family friendly home. Although if you’re just looking for a place to crash it’s probably equivalent to sleeping at your friend’s house on the sofa. Good luck to the host and his ability to address some issues and make the space more inviting.
