"Schönes Hotel in Flughafennähe. Vom Flughafen laufen sollte man nicht, das die Straßen eng sind und keine Bürgersteige haben. Am Hotel ist ein ausreichend großer Parkplatz der kostenlos genutzt werden kann. Das Haus ist schön, das Frühstück in Ordnung. Es gibt einen Pool den man auch kostenlos als Gast nutzen kann- allerdings nur abends von 20 bis 22 Uhr (nur Erwachsene) und morgens von 07:00 bis 10 Uhr (Erwachsene und Kinder). "

"The centre of York was easy to reach, nice and serene location. We would have given 5 stars when the cleaning staff had not messed up: 1 day not cleaning the room but tagging it off on their working list. Next day only partly cleaning the room and putting some content of the bin as display in the room. (revenge?). The first failure was apologised for by the receptionist who gave us a free drink voucher to make up for the mistake. Just a pity that the bartender started to refuse the voucher initially when he saw it, even before I could order anything. What the staff behind the front desk tries to “rescue” is ruined by other service staff members: here is some improvement possible. If this hadn’t happened, we would rated the hotel 5 starts for our 5 nights stay."
