„Our stay here was perfect. Black Bear Chateau had everything we needed. This is the basement of the host's lovely home and is beautiful, cozy and comfortable. Mary Louise was a wonderful host. We were welcomed with a tray of snacks, bags of treats to give the local critters, notebooks with with information about the place, local attractions and places to eat. We greatly appreciated the extra things that made our stay so pleasant. I highly recommend this place and hope that we can return one day. ...

„Beutiful location beside the Cuchara River (creek). Got to see wild turkey every day and a bobcat another morning. Would like to return next year for Oktoberfest (2nd week in October) for the activities in La Veta. “

„My son and I had a great stay here. It is in a quiet neighborhood with panaromic views.Its great for active families as it is in close proximity to Red Rocks. Its also great for a staycation.Very comfortable and very clean.They had a collection of toys and books for young children and it was great.“
