„We had a very quiet, peaceful two nights at River Retreat. Thoroughly labeled kitchen (and beyond) was well stocked for morning coffees on the beautiful deck overlooking the backyard and river. The beds were comfortable (a rarity) and the space was perfect for four adults. We enjoyed the gentle freeze and sound of the river, so close to town yet private and quiet. Dellene was easy to communicate with and very responsive to our needs.“

„I can't say enough about Holly and her wonderful little cottage in Greer. Upon walking in my expectations were exceeded tenfold as it is so beautifully appointed in every way, and very spacious. „Horrible experience! The house was filthy! Towels and washcloths were old, worn and mismatched. Bedding on queen bed did not fit the bed. Bunk beds had no bunkieboards and cheap mattresses. Dishes were sparse, random and put up dirty. Outdoor hedges are overgrown and house is hardly visible from the road. Vrbo refunded our money, but weren’t able to find somewhere else for us to stay on an already stressful weekend, as we were in town for my 10 year old nephew’s funeral! We will likely never ...

„Visiting from Long Island to see my daughter’s friend who moved to SC. Property was perfect. Accommodations were comfortable and we had everything we needed to prepare some meals. My husband enjoyed doing some fishing and relaxing on the deck. We made a trip into Greenville to go to Falls Park, shop and have dinner. We enjoyed the Landrum farmers market, Looking Glass Creamery and All Good Things bakery in Tryon. No issues with checking in or out. Would definitely recommend and would come back“

„Loved the set up. Definitely a great place if you have a dog to let them run around. Beautiful water-just hate we didn't have time to put the kayaks in. Would recommend and stay here again. Side Note: The workers at local stores were all very friendly and helpful. I'm from the south but felt like I received "true" southern hospitality everywhere we went. :)“

"We expected more for the price as we stayed at cheaper hotels and got more there. The fridge was so loud, we had to switch it off at night. During our 3-day stay, the reception said, that our room gets cleaned on the 2nd day. We only got fresh towels, but the room didn’t get refreshed. The cleanliness of the room could have been better (hair in the bathroom, on the bedside tables, stains on the couch). The shower gel and shampoo is more for men, not citrusy as it says on the bottle. None of the power outlets at the bed worked. The carpet in the hallway makes you feel dizzy. "
