„In die Jahre gekommene Hemlock Lodge mitten im State Park. Am Hang gelegen und mitten im Wald, viele Vögel und Eichhörnchen aber wenig Blick. Gute Betten aber Möbiliar und Badezimmer sind alt zuweisen zahlreiche Gebrauchspuren auf. Alle Zimmer haben großen Balkon. Leider nicht allzu sauber. Im angeschlossen Restaurant gab es sowohl morgens als auch abends Buffet. Preiswert aber auch nur allenfalls durchschnittlich gut. Die Natural Bridge kann man zu Fuß in einer 3/4 Stunde erreichen. „Toilette brush was missing everything else was fine :)“

„Loved my stay at this little cabin in the woods. The host was awesome and made sure I had everything I needed including some fire starter for the fire pit, firewood, a case of water, and coffee! Great place to take an easy walk through the woods and just enjoy some fresh air and down time. I was in the area for a concert and this is just 10 minutes from Athens University, yet felt so remote and secluded. Horses, chickens, and the friendliest dogs all made this even more awesome. „We were disappointed in the hot tub and did not use it. The water was cloudy. I didn't bother contacting the host about it because we wouldn't have felt comfortable using it after that. The water inside the cabin smelled, I do realize it was well water. The access to the goats was not good, there was what we thought was another rental behind us and we didn't want to disturb them. Sweet cat and kitten came to visit. The cottage was cute but needed some maintenance.“
