„The location is beautiful - a long frontage on Lake George. The condition of the property is, literally, pristine. I am not sure how it manages to be so perfectly maintained and still look like a traditional lake resort. We could not have been more pleased.“

„What an amazing experience! This glamping site is not like other campsites; it is a breath of fresh air! The ladies that run this place work hard to make sure that you have an amazing experience! Yet there is no internet (not a bad thing) and no playground, my 8year old loved the Lodge and all the board games. But think the best part for her was feeding the chickens and collecting eggs. „The treehouse was very cozy and cooled down very well at night. They have great trails and kayaks to use which the dog loved. The hosts were communicative and gracious. They gave us some fresh strawberries from their garden as well. We hope to get back in the not too distant future. “

„This adorable cabin was perfect for me and my siblings that were in town for a family reunion. The beds were sooooo comfortable, never have I ever slept to 9am three mornings in a row. The cabin was small but super clean and equipped with everything we needed for cooking our first night. The labeling of all the light switches and cabinets was very thoughtful. “

„Another great stay! I brought yet another new friend along and she loved it too. We kayaked in 13th Lake, shopped in North Creek, hiked Peaked Mountain, had lots of laughs on our girls trip. Owners are always pleasant and knowledgeable about the area and things to do. I love catching up with them each visit, and also love the dogs!“

„First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!“

„Myself and 2 friends from high school stayed there for a little mini-reunion. Cabin was great. Especially liked the big porch to sit out on and catch up. Pretty view of river and not too far from Lake George. “

„This is exactly what my family was looking for! We drove out for the wilds center and afterwards we came to stay for the night. Rob was at the property when I showed up working on cleaning out the dock area. He let me know that we could fish off the dock (see the photos of some of our catches in the 10mins we fished before leaving In the morning!). „My husband and I had a very nice (peaceful) time at Camp Lillian. The location is great if you are looking for privacy and little to no road traffic. The cabin itself was cute and very inviting. We loved the fact that a dip in the hot tub was super convenient, as it is just a minute walk up the hill (location is key). The Wi-Fi access was great! "Das Cambria Hotel war das schönste auf unserer 4-wöchigen Reise durch die Neu-Englandstaaten. Das lag vor allem an den herzlichen Mitarbeitern (vom Hotel-Manager David angefangen) über die Leute an der Rezeption und im Restaurant. Zudem hat das Hotel einige Annehmlichkeiten, die deutlich über dem Durchschnitt liegen. (Laundry, Innenpool, Restaurant-Terrasse mit schönen Möbeln, Kajaks und Tretboote zum Ausleihen und einer schönen Aussenanlage am See mit Feuerstellen) Wir haben uns in dem schönen, recht großzügigen Zimmer mit Pantry, mit Ausblick auf die Berge und dem tollem Badezimmer sehr wohl gefühlt. Von uns gibt es eine Empfehlung für Lake Placid für dieses Hotel."
