The property was beautiful and clean. The excursion we took, was not what they told us it would be.

They claim to be 5 stars, but some staff were very impolite and rude. They claim to adapt themselves to the clients but they don't. They try to sell memberships to avoid hotels.com and Expedia... Additionally, it is very complicated to organize a trip to a place outside of the hotel, seeing as the hotel tries to push the client to consume their packages which are quite expensive. The beach in the hotel was closed due to dirtiness, whereas the beaches in the "zona hotelera Cancun" were clean. In total, it was a mistake to go in that hotel, since the hotel seems to seek the money and not at all the satisfaction of the clients.

I am an Hyatt Member now after this trip as I always stay at Dreams or Secrets resorts all the time. The stay was cool, we enjoyed ourselves. The buffet breakfast options was very sad, nothing there for a pescotarian to eat but fruit. The one sushi restaurant we wanted to try is only open on Wednesdays and Fridays which is odd so we wasn't able to try that restaurant out. Honestly not many options for guests that don't eat meat which made eating options very difficult. Absolutely nothing for us to eat in the preferred lobby, oh sorry they had potatoes. The air conditioner in our room sound like a train running the whole time. Only way to get some peace is to cut the AC off. The rope decorations hanging on the walls smelled so bad. Once we turned the AC off the ropes started to smell our entire room with a very funky odder which made us have to deal with the train sounds when turning the AC back on. Didn't receive my free bottle of champagne like promised and had to go through hell at check out for it. The lady at the front desk charged my card 2 times for a tip I was trying to give. Then stated it didn't go through because of her machine, then charged my partners card. I told the lady I was charged as I see it in my account. She wouldn't get me a manager or give her name. Because of this, I would never recommend this location to anyone as she stole money from me and I have the proof. I took a picture of her since she wouldn't give me her name. Super bad ending to our trip.
