The property is in a perfect location, easily walkable to all places of interest. The staff were friendly and helpful. This property is more like small apartments as supposed to being a proper hotel. There is no reception. Luckily the nice man in the hotel opposite helped me with my check-in. Unfortunately I had to wait for 40mins while my room was cleaned and then discovered that I had to go to another hotel for breakfast. But this was only a few minutes away and the breakfast is not bad. Had a problem with the WiFi and shower but this was resolved the next day. The shower also doesn't have a screen, so you are left with a giant puddle. Came back one evening and couldn't get into the building. They had installed a digital entry system and not informed me. Had to wait 20mins for the key at the other hotel. Once all the issues had been resolved, the stay was actually quite pleasant. Pay a bit extra and get one of the bigger rooms upstairs. Cleaning standards could be improved, but overall the place is quite pleasant.

This is a hotel in need of some modern management. Everything is old or poorly maintained. Very little worked well and the whole place is in need of a complete refurbishment. However the location is fantastic and the staff were very helpful and tried their best.

Der Hotelzustand ist katastrophal: alles marode und dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Im Bad Schimmel an Wänden und Decke. Kein Wasserdruck in der Dusche - gar keiner. Frühstück: 4/10, akzeptabel, aber nichts Besonderes. Wir waren zu viert, bekamen aber ständig nur 2 Handtücher. Spa-Bereich eiskalt, Saunatür schließt nicht dicht. Kostet 13 € pro Person - absolut überteuert. Einziges Plus: zentrale Lage, alles fußläufig erreichbar. Nicht empfehlenswert.

Excellent place for a city trip. Especially, the free gym and the swimming pool (25 m, 1.80 deep) are superb. But it's recommended to book the (delicious) breakfast already with the original booking. Otherwise, you end up with €10.50 per person per breakfast, which is far more then the difference between a room with or without breakfast as shown on Expedia.
